About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will teach secondary students (Grades 9–11) under the U.S. curriculum. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire learners, strengthen their mathematical understanding, and foster critical thinking skills within a supportive and innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the U.S. curriculum.
- Develop students’ understanding of core mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and calculus, while strengthening their problem-solving, analytical, and reasoning skills.
- Incorporate applied mathematics topics, such as business mathematics and personal finance (where relevant), to connect learning to real-world situations and enhance practical problem-solving skills.
- Differentiate instruction using a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and styles.
- Integrate project-based learning to promote critical thinking, creativity, and practical application of mathematical concepts in real-life scenarios.
- Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their development.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative classroom environment that encourages student engagement and academic excellence.
- Teach Advanced Placement (AP) courses and effectively prepare students for college-level study.
- Support outstanding students in extracurricular programs, including preparation for national and global mathematics competitions.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional planning, and broader school initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Teaching license from Kurusapa (temporary or permanent) preferred.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of teaching experience in secondary mathematics (Grades 9–11) is preferred; experience with AP courses is a plus.
- Native English speaker
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative learning environment.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools for teaching and assessment.
