HeadStart International School in Phuket is seeking a dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic Cover Teacher for our Chaofah Campus. This role is ideal for a Substitute, Supply, or General Classroom Teacher, and is set to begin in August 2026.
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching students aged 11 to 18 across the Secondary age range. We are looking for an inspiring educator who can effectively engage students in any subject they teach.
Benefits for this position include:
- A salary of 40,000 Baht per month
- Housing allowance of 10,000 Baht per month

Requirements for the successful candidate:
- A strong understanding of the UK curriculum and experience teaching in the UK or an international school setting
- Experience teaching in a Secondary setting
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university
- A recognised teaching qualification such as BEd, PGCE, iPGCE, or equivalent (TEFL is not accepted)
- Fluency in English
- Ability to work collaboratively with the school leadership team and teaching staff to develop resources for mainstream teaching
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school
