Bangkok Glass Public Company Limited is seeking an English Language Instructor, specifically of British nationality, to join our team at the Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya, Thailand. Our company, a leading player in Thailand’s glass packaging and consumer packaging sectors, also owns the BG Pathum United Football Club. We have established an on-site Language Center at our Ayutthaya plant to enhance our employees' English communication skills.
As an English Language Instructor, your responsibilities will include delivering engaging conversational English lessons to small groups of employees, typically consisting of 5–6 learners. You will assist learners in improving their speaking, listening, pronunciation, and workplace communication skills. You are expected to create a supportive and interactive learning environment, prepare lesson materials that encourage practical English usage, and organize occasional English language activities, workshops, or cultural events. Collaboration with colleagues to maintain a high-quality learning experience is essential.
The position is full-time, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 hrs. Teaching hours are approximately 16–18 hours per week, with Fridays generally reserved for lesson preparation, learner support, and development activities. No evening or weekend classes are required.
Applicants must hold British nationality (UK passport holder) and be native-level English speakers. A bachelor's degree in any discipline is required, while a TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification is advantageous. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably with adult learners, corporate training, or workplace English programs, is necessary. Candidates should be adaptable to different learning styles and proficiency levels and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. A positive attitude and professional mindset are crucial.
The selected candidate will be provided with a 6-month renewable contract, a competitive salary of approximately THB 60,000 per month, company health insurance, full visa and work permit support, and paid public holidays as per company policy.
The interview process comprises two stages: an online interview via Microsoft Teams and a face-to-face interview at the Bangkok Glass Headquarters, including a 10-minute trial teaching session.
