Job Description:

[Hanoi] Primary/Secondary/ High school English Teacher (Expat only) (August 2024 start)

Salary Range: Up to 750,000 VND/hour (30 USD); Visa and Work Permit sponsorship; End-of-contract bonus.

· All schools are in Hanoi: Primary school, secondary school and high school with different kinds of curriculum (General English, Academic English, IELTS, Toeic, communicative English, etc.) and students’ English level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C, etc.)

· Location: Nam Tu Liem, Bac Tu Liem, Cau Giay, Dong Da, Ba Dinh, Tay Ho, Ha Dong, Thanh Tri, Dong Anh districts.

· Monday – Friday fixed daytime schedule – NO WEEKEND CLASSES.

· Up to 750,000 VND per hour (based on experience/qualifications/teaching performance in the Demo/teaching programs and offside distance).

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Planning and delivering English lessons in line with IIG’s curriculum.

· Create and facilitate engaging activities.

· Performing regular administrative duties such as marking and commenting on students’ work.

· Collaborating with colleagues and sharing ideas.

· Provide support for extracurricular activities and school festivals when/if required.

REQUIRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

· Being a native/non native English speaker or equivalent with evidence of high English proficiency (equivalent to CEFR level C2).

· Must have bachelor’s degree (or higher), in any subject

· Having at least 6-month ESL classroom experience teaching young learners or teens required.

· A CELTA, TESOL, TEFL, or equivalent teaching certificate (with teaching practicum is desired)

· Able to commit until the end of the academic year (31 MAY 2025).

SALARY & BENEFITS:

· Hourly rates up to 750,000 VND per hour (based on experience/qualifications/teaching performance in the Demo/teaching programs and offside distance).

· End-of-contract bonus *, resigning bonus, annual pay rate review.

· 40-80 hours per month guaranteed, more hours available upon request.
