Lertlah School Nawamin in Bangkok is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School English Teacher to join our dynamic team. We are looking for candidates who are native English speakers with a passion for teaching and the ability to foster a collaborative and engaging learning environment. This full-time position involves teaching students in grades 7 through 9, with a focus on Science and substitute teaching.
The position is set to start on October 26, 2026. The minimum salary offered is ฿40,000 per month, with the possibility of a higher salary based on education and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that are appropriate for the students' age and skill level.
- Plan and conduct lessons and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Set and work towards achieving educational goals with students.
- Utilize diverse teaching resources and activities to instruct students.
- Evaluate student performance both formally and informally, providing timely feedback.
- Maintain an organized classroom environment that fosters creativity, respect, and learning, using suitable classroom management strategies.
- Create instructional materials beyond standard textbooks.
- Actively participate in school community events.
- Adhere to and promote school-wide policies and administrative guidelines.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in education, teaching, or a related field is required; a degree in education is preferred.
- Experience working with young children.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Patience and compassion for the needs and emotions of young children.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general teaching technology.
