Anglo Singapore International School in Bangkok is actively recruiting a NES Primary English Teacher to join their dedicated team. This full-time position begins in August 2026 at the Campus 64 location in Bangkok, Thailand. The role offers a competitive salary starting at ฿75,000 per month.
The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled educator with a strong academic background, capable of teaching Cambridge Primary First Language English to students for whom English is a second language. This role includes teaching responsibilities as well as serving as a homeroom teacher, focusing on students' pastoral care and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Cambridge Primary First Language English lessons, ensuring academic rigor and the development of essential literacy skills.
- Plan and implement structured lessons that enhance reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities.
- Use both formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide targeted support.
- Provide clear feedback to guide continuous improvement in English language skills.
- Act as a homeroom teacher, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional safety and positive learning habits.
- Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum coherence and participate in school events and professional development activities.
- Maintain adherence to school policies, including child safeguarding and wellbeing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent.
- At least 2–3 years of experience teaching Primary English.
- Deep understanding of the Cambridge Primary English curriculum and experience teaching English to non-native speakers.
- Strong proficiency in English communication and excellent classroom management skills.
- Experience in international or multilingual school settings is advantageous.
