Job Description:

Beyond Books Co., Ltd is seeking qualified part-time teachers to join our Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) team in Phuket. We provide creative and communication skill development courses for children at international and bilingual schools in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. Open positions are available for Kindergarten, Primary, and Secondary levels. Classes are scheduled at various international schools and typically last between 40 minutes to 1 hour, starting from 2:30 PM onwards. Teachers can choose their teaching days and are required to commit to a course duration of 8-12 weeks.

Responsibilities include conducting classes based on our provided curriculum, preparing resources and lesson plans, maintaining student records, ensuring student safety, and participating in training sessions. Teachers must arrive at least 15 minutes before class, and maintain communication with our management team.

Applicants must have a teaching degree, relevant teaching experience, and preferably industry experience in related fields. A Thai police clearance is required, and applicants must have a valid visa to live/work in Bangkok, as Beyond Books does not process work visas for freelance teachers.

Compensation starts at ฿1,000 per class, with performance and length of service-based increments. Travel allowances are provided for schools located far from public transport.

Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.
