Lighthouse International School is looking for a Secondary Mathematics & Science Teacher specializing in Mathematics. The position is based in Phuket, Thailand, with a salary range of 50,000 THB to 70,000 THB per month. The ideal candidate should be a native English speaker with a Bachelor's degree in Education, specializing in Mathematics or a related field. Teaching certification from your home country and a minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience are required. Strong knowledge of A Level Maths and/or the Canadian (Alberta) high school curriculum is essential. Experience with international students is advantageous. Preferred nationalities include Canada, UK, USA, and South Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics up to A Level or Grade 12 in the Alberta Curriculum
- Support instruction in general science at the lower secondary level
Requirements:
- Native English speaker
- Bachelor's degree in Education (Master’s preferred) with a Math specialization
- Teaching certification or license from home country
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of A Level Maths and/or Canadian (Alberta) high school curriculum
- Experience with international students is a plus
- Nationalities preferred: Canada, UK, USA, South Africa
