Subject Specific Teachers for Secondary
The Newton Sixth Form in Bangkok is seeking qualified Subject Specific Teachers for secondary education due to growth and internal role changes. Established in 2019, the school is conveniently located a few minutes’ walk from Siam BTS and offers primary and senior sections focusing on IGCSE, IAL (International A-Level), and BTEC curricula under Pearson Edexcel.
Available Positions:
1. Physics Teacher for IGCSE (Years 10/11) and possibly IAL (Years 12/13).
2. Lower Secondary General Science Teacher (Years 8/9).
3. Mathematics Teacher for IGCSE (Years 10/11) and potentially IAL (Years 12/13).
4. Mathematics Teacher for primary level (Years 2-7).
5. IELTS Teacher (Years 11-13).
6. English Teacher for IGCSE and IELTS (Years 10-13) for the Creative Arts and Design School, preferably with a literature and/or performing arts background.
7. English/Humanities Teacher (Years 10-13), with the ability to support subjects like Business, Psychology, Politics, and/or History.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in the relevant field is required, with a teaching qualification such as TEFL or CELTA preferred but not essential.
- A minimum of one year of in-class teaching experience with the relevant age group.
- Familiarity with Pearson IGCSE and IAL programs is beneficial.
- Preference for native English speakers, especially those residing in Thailand, and Thai nationals with native-level English proficiency.
Benefits:
- Working hours: 08.30-17:30, Monday-Friday, including a lunch break from 12:00-13:00.
- Starting salary from 50,000 THB per month, subject to qualifications and experience, with a review after a 119-day probation period.

- Annual bonus equivalent to one month’s salary.
- All visa and work permit costs covered by the school.
- A return flight to your home country upon successful completion of a one-year contract.
