2027 Global Vision Christian School is looking to hire new teachers in Eumseong. As an aspiring candidate, you should have a passion for education and hold a bachelor’s degree, with a teaching certificate being preferred. Candidates must also meet the requirements for E-2 or E-7 visa status (F-2, F-4, and F-6 are also eligible). The E-2 visa is for language teachers, while the E-7 visa is for foreign nationals working in specific fields. Additionally, being a born-again Christian is a requirement (the school is non-denominational). The school is recruiting for positions in English (Journalism, Communication, or similar fields) and Math (Geometry, Algebra, Pre-Calculus). A teaching certificate is preferred for these roles. The working hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. To apply, you will need to go through a document screening process, which includes submitting a teaching application, a 1-2 minute self-introduction video outlining your goals and aspirations, as well as scanned copies of your diploma and transcripts. The salary starts at 30 million won (pre-tax) and will be determined based on your experience and qualifications. Additional responsibilities will come with bonuses, and retiring pay will be a separate amount. Renewal bonuses are also provided. Benefits include 2-3 weeks of vacation during each semester, provided housing, lunch (with dinner during overtime), and a round-trip plane ticket.
