We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Business/Economics Teacher to teach students in Years 10 to 13, following the Cambridge Curriculum (IGCSE/AS/A Level). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering engaging lessons, and assessing student progress in a supportive and challenging academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies and Economics according to the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, exams, and projects.
• Prepare students for IGCSE/AS/A Level examinations.
• Integrate technology and digital resources to enhance teaching and learning.
• Participate in curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Teaching certification or qualification, preferably in the Cambridge Curriculum.
• Proven experience teaching Business Studies and Economics at the IGCSE/AS/A Level.
• Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Curriculum and examination requirements.
• Proficiency in using computers and technology for educational purposes, including familiarity with online teaching tools, educational software, and digital resources.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational best practices.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their academic potential.
