Position: Secondary School Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives Teacher
Location: Satit Bilingual School of Rangsit University, Pathum Thani, Bangkok
Start Date: 26th October 2026
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives Teacher to join our vibrant teaching team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering student development both academically and through extracurricular activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily teach IGCSE Global Perspectives and some humanities subjects in line with the Cambridge Curriculum.
- Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and instructional materials for effective teaching.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and interests.
- Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Manage classroom expectations and assess student performance and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student progress.
- Design and implement remedial programs for students needing additional support.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events.
- Organize and lead extracurricular activities, including clubs and academic competitions.
- Fulfill additional professional duties as assigned by the Principal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Education, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Professional Teaching qualification/certification is required.
- Preference for candidates with a teacher's license and those currently residing in Thailand.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years of professional teaching experience post-qualification in a school setting.
- Experience teaching IGCSE Global Perspectives, Business, or Economics. Experience with AS & A level Business or Economics is highly preferred.
- Previous experience with international curriculums, working with expats, and teaching EAL learners is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Native-level or near-native English proficiency (CEFR C1 minimum).
- Strong skills in presentation, communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
- Competent in class and time management, interpersonal relations, and teamwork.
- Adaptable, patient, flexible, and maintains a positive outlook.
