Description:
We are looking for a dedicated individual to take on the role of Cambridge Kindergarten Team Leader and Kindergarten Teacher at our school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating activities at the Preschool level, while also fulfilling teaching duties. This position requires a balance between classroom instruction, student support, and implementing improvement initiatives to elevate educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the early years team in line with the Cambridge Early Years program
- Ensure the curriculum aligns with developmental requirements and evaluate its effectiveness
- Organize professional development opportunities for staff and conduct performance evaluations
- Monitor child development progress and support individual learning needs
- Engage parents and the community through positive relationships and educational events
- Implement and enforce educational policies and health/safety protocols
- Advocate for inclusive practices to support diverse learners
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or Educational Management
- Master’s degree or relevant teaching certifications preferred
Experience & Personal Qualities:
- Minimum 3 years of Preschool teaching experience
- Experience in management, educational improvement programs, or leadership roles
- Responsible, creative, and passionate about education
Skills:
- Strong teaching, planning, and classroom management skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in office software and technology integration
- English proficiency preferred
