Meritton British International School in Chiang Mai is seeking a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join our team for the upcoming academic year, starting in August 2026. Role Overview:
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Computer Science across Key Stage 3, Cambridge IGCSE, and AS/A Level. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of interdisciplinary pathways, including connections with Business and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science instruction across KS3 to KS5.
- Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Computer Science exams.
- Design engaging lessons covering programming, computational thinking, and digital systems.
- Assist students in applying computing skills to real-world and interdisciplinary contexts.
- Participate in curriculum development and enrichment activities such as coding clubs and competitions.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and innovative learning environment.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS or equivalent).
- At least two years of teaching experience in an international school setting.
- Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Computer Science.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar.
- Excellent English language skills, with native-level fluency preferred.
- A strong commitment to Values-based Education (VbE) and Enquiry-based Learning (EBL).
