Key Responsibilities
1.Teaching & Learning
*Plan and deliver age-appropriate music lessons for students across different grade levels.
*Teach music theory, history, vocal training, and instrumental practice.
*Prepare students for performances, concerts, and examinations.
*Differentiate instruction to meet the varied needs and abilities of students.
2. Student Development
*Foster creativity, confidence, and appreciation for music in students.
*Identify and nurture musical talent through extra coaching or activities.
*Support students in developing teamwork through ensembles, choirs, and bands.
3. School Events & Activities
*Organize and direct school concerts, assemblies, and cultural events.
*Collaborate with other teachers for cross-curricular projects (e.g., musicals, talent shows).
*Contribute to extracurricular clubs such as choir, orchestra, or band.
4. Administration & Professionalism
*Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments.
*Provide regular feedback to students and parents.
*Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
*Uphold school values, safeguarding policies, and child protection standards.
Qualifications
*Native Speaker Only
*Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field.
*Teaching certification/license (preferred).
*Strong knowledge of music theory, instruments, and performance.
*Ability to play at least one instrument proficiently.
*Classroom management skills and passion for inspiring students.
*Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
