Job Description:

You will plan and teach English as a foreign language lessons to students aged 12 and younger using our curriculum. Before and after class, you will also prepare lessons, grade homework and tests, and provide support for your fellow teachers. You will work closely with a mix of veteran teachers and newcomers to Taiwan. At our school, you can expect to develop skills and competencies in:

Our schools are located in Shulin District, a peaceful suburb southwest of Taipei, located around Shulin Station and its adjacent commercial district. Shulin sports all of the comforts of home and great transit links with a very affordable cost of living. You’ll enjoy:

Compensation and Benefits
Starting pay rate of 650-700 NTD per teaching hour, depending on education and experience
Additional 3,000 NTD per month for completing duties outside of the classroom (lesson planning, grading, etc.)
Guaranteed minimum of 20 teaching hours per week
Immigration and onboarding support, comprehensive training, and house-hunting assistance
Structured and comprehensive curriculum Lesson plans and curriculum provided
Position Requirements
A passport from a country where English is an official language (Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, etc.)
A bachelor’s degree or higher. All majors are welcome. Prior teaching experience or a teaching credential (TEFL certificate, teaching license, etc.) are not required.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
A positive attitude, ability to take feedback, and willingness to constantly learn and improve
