DIRECT HIRE: ECLC Early Childhood Learning Center in Seoul Seeks Experienced and Dedicated Teacher Intern

ECLC is a premier English language early childhood program for children aged 2 to 6 years and has been serving the Seoul community since 1969. At ECLC children are the heart and center of our program, which is why we operate as a not-for-profit. We endeavor to provide all students with a fun, engaging and holistic learning environment where they feel safe, respected and loved. We hope to employ teachers/teacher interns who embody the same values.

At ECLC, we recognize the contribution of our staff to the development of our students and reward their commitment with a competitive salary. Maybe more importantly, we offer and request a work atmosphere characterized by mutual respect, the willingness to take responsibility and grow professionally as well as -of course- the joy of teaching.

Passionate teachers who identify with our play-based and child-centered approach to learning and meet the requirements listed below are invited to submit their application documents for a potential first round interview for the teacher intern position.

You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
