Berkeley Quantum Language School is seeking to fill two immediate homeroom teacher positions in Haeundae and Dongnae, Busan. The positions are available starting ASAP and from March 2026. As a homeroom teacher at BerkeleyEdu, you will work alongside a Korean-speaking assistant teacher in kindergarten and independently teach English to elementary school students.
Job Description
- Conduct classes as scheduled
- Prepare materials for classes
- Perform student assessment and reporting
- Collaborate with other teachers and administration
- Attend meetings, workshops, and events
Requirements
- Citizenship from the U.S.A, Canada, U.K, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa
- Apostilled nationwide criminal background check and diploma from a 4-year accredited university
- Clean medical health check
Working Conditions
- Student Type: Kindergarten and Elementary School
- Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M.
- Break Times: 12:20~12:55 (35min Lunch), 14:50~15:15 (25min)
- Prep Times: One 45-minute class period per day
- Teaching Time: 35 Kindergarten Classes + 10 Elementary Classes a Week
- Class Length: Kindergarten 35 minutes, Elementary 45 minutes
- Class Size: Maximum 13 students
- Native Teacher Workshop provided for teacher training
Salary
- 2.4M - 3.0M KRW per month (negotiable based on experience)

- 15 days of vacation plus National Korean Holidays per year
Housing
- Housing or Housing Allowance Provided
- Maximum 400,000KRW Housing Allowance
- 500,000KRW deposit required if using school-provided housing for any potential damage
