Job Description:
We are seeking a Native English Teacher for a full-time position in Pyeongchon starting in September/October 2026. The ideal candidate should be a native English speaker with a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in Korea, and currently residing in Korea.
The position offers a competitive salary starting at 3 million KRW/month, based on experience and interview. Housing is provided if needed. The working days are Monday to Friday with all national holidays off.
The working hours are as follows:
- Mon & Fri: 2:00–9:50 PM
- Tue & Thu: 2:00–9:50 PM
- Wed: 2:00–9:50 PM
Teaching hours are:
- Mon & Fri: 2:30–9:50 PM
- Tue & Thu: 2:30–8:10 PM
- Wed: 2:30–7:20 PM
The students are from grades 1 to 8 with a maximum of 8 students per class. We value teachers who prioritize creativity, critical thinking, and building strong relationships with students.
Benefits include severance pay after a 1-year contract, a 50/50 split on pension, health insurance, and occupational safety/health insurance. Vacation days increase from 11 in the first year to 15 in the second year, with flexible scheduling not limited to fixed seasonal breaks.
