Job Description:
Full-time 1 year contract.
-Open to E2, D10, F2, F4, F5, F6 Visa holders

-Start date: Mid-Feb February 2023 or until Filled. (Full schedule will be given from March 2nd 2023)
-Full Paid Training 1 ~ 2 weeks starting from Mid-February to 2nd March.
-Number of positions: 1
-Instructors: Foreign 2, Korean 30.
-Type of School: Local English leader (Large English Hagwon of Dongdaemun in Elementary/Middle/High School).
-Teaching Level: Elementary 3rd Grade to 6th Grade, all curriculum and materials provided.
-Working Hours 37.5hrs per week (Monday to Friday, including office, teaching and break times: 1.30pm-9.00pm Mon-Fri (45min classes, actual Teaching Hours up to 23 hours/Week (30 x 45min classes), approx 6 x 45min class per day)
-Salary:
0 to 1 year experience (Hagwon or Public School)
From 2.1~2.3million Won pre-tax commensurate with experience.
2+ years’ experience: (Hagwon and dynamic understanding of Native Teacher curriculum)
2.4~2.6million Won pre-tax commensurate with experience.
-Weekend event: 1 Saturday every 6 months (10.30~1.30pm for Speech Contests)
-Formal Student Assessment: Speaking/Writing Test every 6 months, no communication with Parents as that is the Korean teacher’s role.
-Free Housing (Single furnished Office-tel within 10min walk from School) or equivalent allowance (400,000 Won/Month)
-4 insurances including Medical Insurance (50%), National Pension (50%)
-Severance pay: Equivalent to 1-month Salary after completing 1 year contract.
-Paid vacation (All public red day holidays, Hagwon Summer break 3 days and Winter break 2days) + 2 paid full days per year + 12 paid half days (1 per month).
-Candidate prerequisites:
*At least 4 years Bachelor’s Degree
*Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office experience.
*Honest, Friendly, Neatly Dressed.
*Living within 40min commute of the Institute.
-Highly sought after Candidates may have the following:
*Some grounding in Korean Language to communicate smoothly with Korean staff if needed.
*Candidates with own their housing opting for housing allowance.
