Job Description:

Rise International School in Bangkok is seeking an Early Years & Primary Principal to join our team. We are a new international school committed to providing affordable, high-quality education in Thailand, offering a K-6 education pathway based on the UK and Singapore curricula. Our campus is located in Phuttamonthon Sai 1, Bangkok (Thonburi).

We are looking for a dedicated leader to play a pivotal role in the establishment and launch of our school. The Early Years & Primary Principal will work closely with the Founder/Head of School to implement our academic framework, develop student experience systems, and ensure the quality of teaching and learning. This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or academic leader with a strong commitment to translating vision into practice within a start-up school environment.

The role begins in September 2026, focusing on system building, curriculum development, staff management, and academic policy and operations until the school's opening in August 2027. The monthly salary is based on experience, with a minimum of ฿120,000 per month for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic & Curriculum Leadership:
- Implement and oversee the school’s academic framework and quality across Early Years and Primary levels.
- Develop and align curriculum standards with the UK and Singapore curricula.
- Ensure consistency in academic quality and alignment with assessment practices.

Teacher Leadership & Professional Practice:
- Lead and support teachers in high-quality classroom practices.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of teachers.
- Implement coaching and feedback cycles to enhance teaching quality.

Student Experience & School Culture:
- Ensure student experiences align with the school’s values and philosophy.
- Lead the implementation of wellbeing systems and daily routines that foster a positive learning culture.

Admissions, Operations & Policy:
- Review admissions applications and engage with prospective parents.
- Develop operational documents and contribute to policy development.
- Support planning and resource allocation within the annual budget.

Safeguarding & Child Protection:
- Develop and implement safeguarding policies and ensure staff adherence.
- Respond to safeguarding concerns and promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.

Candidate Requirements:

Required:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Early Years homeroom teacher.
- Strong understanding of curriculum design and teaching quality.
- Experience in leading and developing teachers with clear communication and collaborative leadership skills.

Preferred:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Primary school teacher.
- Experience in school leadership or senior academic roles, particularly with UK and/or Singapore curriculum frameworks.
- Experience in international or bilingual school contexts.
