Job Description: Ecology Teacher and Eco-Coordinator**
ISP International School of Phuket
**Curriculum: Cambridge and Sustainable Education**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Ecology Teacher and Eco-Coordinator for our Cambridge Primary students.
**Responsibilities:**
- Teach engaging ecology lessons to Cambridge Primary students.
- Develop and implement a sustainable education programme.
- Organise and lead eco-events throughout the year.
- Create and oversee eco-projects during the academic year.
- Organise and participate in ecology and environmental protection competitions.
- Lead an eco-club for interested students.
- Train school staff on sustainability practices.
- Collaborate with other teachers to include sustainability in the curriculum.
- Monitor and improve sustainability initiatives.
- Liaise with external organisations for additional resources and opportunities.
**Requirements:**
- A degree in ecology, biology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous teaching experience preferred but not required.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Passion for environmental education and sustainability.
**Working Hours:**
- 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM
**Contract:**
- 12-month contract with 8 weeks of holidays
**Salary:**
- Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
