Economics and Business Studies Teacher Position

Astra Academy International School, located in central Bangkok, is a flourishing educational institution that opened in September 2021. We are inviting applications for a dedicated, experienced, and passionate Economics and Business Studies Teacher to join our team in August 2025. The role offers a two-year renewable contract with competitive terms and excellent working conditions. We welcome applicants from the UK state and independent sectors, as well as those with international experience.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Bachelor of Education Degree, or a relevant degree with a UK PGCE, iPGCE, or another recognized teaching qualification conferring Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Strong understanding of teaching Economics and Business Studies according to the National Curriculum for England.
- Experience with Cambridge IGCSE Economics and A-Level Business Studies is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in an international school setting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective teaching practice.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and supportive team.
- Cultural sensitivity and a genuine interest in working with students from diverse backgrounds.

Interested candidates should submit a full CV and a letter of application to hr@astra.ac.th. The letter, not exceeding two pages, should explain the applicant's interest in Astra Academy, their strengths, and how they can benefit the students. The CV should also be two pages or less and include a passport-style photo and contact details of three professional referees, including current and previous employers.
