Editor/Writer for e-future ELT Content

Seoul, Korea | Full-time position

About e-future

e-future is an innovative and adaptive publisher focused on producing fun and engaging English language teaching material (ELT), both in print and digital formats. We are a close-knit group of passionate educators who strive to create high-quality and pedagogically sound materials. Located in Seoul, South Korea, we actively publish for both the domestic and international markets.

Responsibilities

   - Develop and implement engaging ELT content that aligns with the curriculum     

   - Present products and train teachers on e-future ELT products

   - Collaborate with colleagues to plan and develop ELT content

   - Support teachers and sales staff on their inquiries about our products

   - Conduct market research and stay updated on ELT trends

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

   - Experience teaching English as a foreign/second language to children and/or teens

   - Experience preparing educational material, particularly ELT material

   - Excellent communication skills, particularly in a multicultural environment

   - Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects

   - The ability to collaborate on team projects

   - The ability to work independently and meet deadlines

   - A keen eye for detail

   - An interest in ELT and knowledge of current trends in the teaching and learning of languages, foreign/second language acquisition, and pedagogy

   - An MA in an ELT-related field, such as TESOL, applied linguistics, or education 

   - An ELT-related BA with at least one year of experience as an editor/writer
