Job Description:

BIS is an ACSI, WASC and Ai accredited International Christian education institution teaching grades 1-12 located in Seongnam, South Korea, approximately 30 km southeast of Seoul. We’re looking for a visionary teacher who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students by providing a meaningful learning experience and by facilitating spiritual growth and direction for their lives. 

 

We are urgently looking for an Elementary Teacher Assistant (TA) teacher starting July 22, 2024.

competitive salary (set scale based on years of experience and degrees

eleven weeks vacation (throughout the year) + Korean national holiday for the full academic year.

medical insurance - 50% paid by BIS, 50% paid by employee

Korean national pension fund - 50% paid by BIS, 50% paid by employee

Basic Qualifications include:

eligible for an "F" status visa in Korea OR Korean national permitted as BIS does not issue E-type visas for foreigners 

BA degree (in education preferred)

previous experience teaching lower elementary students.
