Walailak University in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand, is seeking applications for a full-time Lecturer position in English Education within the School of Education's Language Teaching Program. The role includes responsibilities in teaching, research, academic development, and providing academic services.
**Qualifications:**
Candidates should possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Education, English, English Language Teaching, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field. Experience in academic or research roles in English language education is required. Special consideration will be given to candidates with at least one publication in the past five years, an academic rank, or previous university-level teaching experience. Doctoral degree holders should ideally have a Scopus Q1 publication. Master's degree holders must have completed a research/thesis-based program. Candidates must meet Walailak University’s academic GPA and English proficiency requirements, with certain exceptions for native speakers and those with qualifying degrees from English-medium programs.
**English Proficiency Requirements:**
- TOEFL PBT/ITP: 550
- TOEFL iBT: 80
- IELTS: 6.5
- TOEIC: 686
- CEFR: B2
- WU-TEP: 84
- CU-TEP: 100
**Salary:**
- Doctoral degree holders: Starting from 40,000 THB/month
- Master’s degree holders: Starting from 28,000 THB/month
Salaries and additional compensation may be adjusted based on qualifications, expertise, and experience.

**Selection Process:**

Candidates with significant academic experience and a strong publication record may be exempted from the presentation.
