Kindergarten Teacher

Position Overview

Baansanfun Kindergarten is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kindergarten Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education. The role focuses on nurturing young learners (ages 3–6) through a child-centered, play-based approach that supports holistic development—intellectual, emotional, social, and physical.

Key Responsibilities
1.Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and philosophy
2.Facilitate learning through Play-Based Learning and experiential activities
3.Support the development of thinking skills (analytical and creative) through structured and unstructured learning
4.Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
5.Observe, assess, and document student progress regularly
6.Collaborate with co-teachers, teaching assistants, and academic staff
7.Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and school activities
8.Participate in school events, performances, and professional development programs
9.Maintain classroom organization, materials, and learning resources

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field
-Valid Teaching License (Thai Teaching License preferred for local teachers)
-For international teachers: TEFL/TESOL certification is an advantage
-Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in early childhood or kindergarten level
-Strong classroom management and communication skills
-Passion for working with young children and understanding of child development

Preferred Competencies
-Familiarity with Play-Based Learning, Child-Centered Approach, or International/English Program (EP)
-Understanding of early childhood development frameworks (e.g., Piaget, Vygotsky, EF skills)
-Ability to integrate English as a medium of instruction (for EP teachers)
-Creative, energetic, and adaptable personality
-Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Working Conditions
Working days: Monday – Friday
Working hours: 08:00 – 16:30
Teaching load: Approximately 25 hours per week
