Synergy Language Academy's Siwei branch in Kaohsiung is seeking a new teacher starting in April 2026. The position will initially require 14 hours per week beginning in early April, increasing to 22-24 hours per week by early or mid-May.
Ideal candidates will:
- Be native English speakers or have a CEFR C1 or C2 certification in speaking, listening, reading, and writing
- Hold a passport that qualifies for a Taiwanese work permit
- Have a strong work ethic
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or a two-year degree with TESOL
- Enjoy working with children aged 7-17
- Have a clean criminal background check from their passport country if they haven't worked in Taiwan before, or be willing to obtain one
- Be reliable
Compensation includes:
- National health insurance
- Assistance in obtaining a work permit and ARC

- Pay per class hour starting at NTD680, with the potential for a higher starting rate based on experience and additional qualifications (such as CELTA)
