ENGLISH TEACHER – YUANLIN, TAIWAN (START AUG 2026)
📍 LOCATION
Yuanlin, Central Taiwan
A comfortable mid-sized city with easy access to major cities and a relaxed lifestyle.
🏫 SCHOOL
We are a well-established private English buxiban (cram school) founded in 2020.
We teach students aged 6–14 using North American materials and an American-style curriculum, focusing on immersive and communicative English learning.
Our school values collaboration, creativity, and a supportive teaching environment where teachers can actively contribute to student learning and school development.
👩🏫 POSITION
Full-time English Teacher (possible part-time options available)
Start date: Late August 2026
This is a stable teaching position with opportunities to be involved in lesson planning, curriculum development, and school activities.
⏰ HOURS
Approx. 8 working hours per day (including office hours)
Approx. 20–22 teaching hours per week
Office hours are used for lesson preparation, grading, curriculum planning, and school activities, within a supportive teaching team environment.
💰 COMPENSATION
Base monthly salary: NT$55,000
Monthly performance and attendance bonuses (additional)
One meal provided during working hours (additional benefit)
NT$25,000 contract completion bonus upon successful completion of a one-year contract
📚 RESPONSIBILITIES
Teach English to children aged 6–14
Lesson planning and curriculum support
Participate in school activities and classroom preparation
Work collaboratively with teaching staff
✅ REQUIREMENTS
Fluent English speaker
Bachelor’s degree or above (required)
Native or near-native English proficiency with strong communication skills
Responsible, flexible, and comfortable working with children
TEFL / TESOL / CELTA preferred
ESL teaching experience preferred
