Francis Parker academy in Jeonju is looking for foreign teachers who can begin working in March 2025. Jeonju is a historic, mid-size city in South Korea. The school manager has been working in English education in Jeonju for 18 years.

[Working hours: 9 a.m.- 6 p.m]
Total working hours: 40 hours per week (8 working hours + 1 hour break per day(deepens on individual Schedule. )
The Teacher is required to work for regularly scheduled hours from Monday through Friday, 09:00 ~ 18:00 .
11 days for vacation/ 5 days unpaid sick leave
[Morning schedule]
1. Kindergarten(3yrs~5yrs; 5yrs~7yrs(as a Korean age) & Elementary students(lower Junior)
-Kindergarten lesson time: 9:30-14:30 (Homeroom system)- we have two homeroom teachers in each kinder classroom
-1 foreign teacher and 1 bilingual (korean) teacher: foreign teacher(leading the lesson), korean teacher(taking care of kids and supporting to lead the lesson also as main homeroom teacher)
[Afternoon schedule]
2. Elementary school students
-ele lesson time: 14:50-16:30 (block schedule, not homeroom system), (normally 1 afternoon lesson time per each day, only 1-2 days for two lesson times)
-afternoon schedule is divided Elementary lesson and tutoring lesson for kindy.
-average lesson time in the afternoon : 5-8 lessons
* If the teacher hired outside of Korea the School is to provide the cost of one-way ticket with an economy class from the teacher’s nearest international airport to Korea. A return flight ticket or refund will not be issued.
* If the Teacher is hired in Korea, then the School does not provide the airfare.
