A prestigious private high school, Huaxing High School, with a stunning mountain view and close proximity to Taipei's bustling Shilin district, is offering an exciting English teaching opportunity.
Established in 1955 by Madame Chiang Kai-Shek as an orphanage for war orphans, Huaxing expanded to include a high school on its beautiful campus in 1969. To enhance the school's appeal, the Foreign Language Center and elementary English Center were introduced in the early 2000s. These centers offer Grade 1 to Grade 12 students a chance for English immersion and interaction beyond their regular classes.
At Huaxing, we focus on topic-based unit instruction to enhance language skills and vocabulary, providing students with engaging literature experiences. Our goal is to give students the opportunity to communicate in English with native speakers and peers.
We are seeking individuals who are not just teachers but dedicated team players ready to contribute to our mission. Huaxing values academic and disciplinary support for its teachers, encouraging consistency and responsibility.
We are looking for self-motivated, innovative individuals who can bring energy and creativity to the classroom. The location of this opportunity is in the Shi-Lin District, Taipei City.
Requirements for this position include a Certified Teaching License, APRC/ARC or Taiwan ID, teaching experience in Taiwan or other countries, and a Bachelor's degree or higher. Native English speakers are preferred. The starting salary is 70,000 NTD per month for 20 teaching periods per week.
Priority is given to children in admission and tuition fee remission. Interested candidates should submit a curriculum vitae or resume in Word format, a recent professional photo, copies of degrees and certificates, and a reference letter written within the last twelve months.
