English Teaching Opportunities in Taiwan
Shane English School Taiwan is looking for English teachers to work throughout Taiwan. We welcome both new and experienced teachers. The hourly rate ranges from NT$600-700 with performance-related salary raises every 6 months. Additionally, there is a contract completion bonus every 12 months. Full-time teachers are guaranteed 20 teaching hours per week.
Classes include Very Young Learners, Elementary School, and Junior High School. The curriculum emphasizes spoken English over bookwork, allowing for flexibility in teaching styles. Course guides, materials, and resources are provided. Support from school staff and Head Office is available inside and outside the classroom.
The Shane Education’s flagship international academy in Linkou, New Taipei City, is offering a full-time Very Young Learners teaching position. If you are a VYL specialist or interested in teaching very young learners, consider applying. The start date is in July/August.
The HIA salary and benefits package includes a base salary and monthly bonuses starting from NT$65,000, an end-of-contract bonus of NT$20,000+, and a student retention bonus of NT$10,000. Additional perks such as a travel stipend, attendance bonus, and a schedule of Monday-Friday with weekends off are provided. The working hours are from 9am-6pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
