Western International School was born in West Honduras, Santa Rosa de Copán. We are a bilingual institution that started off with one campus at Santa Rosa de Lima.
After the school’s first campus amazing success, we expanded into one of the largest and most populous cities of our country: San Pedro Sula.
Our mission as an institution is to improve education in our country, offering an integrated education that includes characteristics and instills competences such as: academic excellence, scientific investigation, guidance on developing liberal arts and other set of skills, by reinforcing moral values and much more!!
We work hard to build up a team of teachers that work around continuous improvement, but overall a team that puts forth a daily effort to help and guide our kids in every way!
We treat our teachers with respect, support, by working as a team and looking out for each other. In addition to this, we try to do all we can so teachers can go through the adaptation process of our culture and our educational system the best way possible.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Honduras before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
