ESL Teacher Position - Nursery & Kindergarten

The Language School in Surat Thani is seeking committed ESL teachers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for educators passionate about teaching young learners, experiencing Thai culture, and contributing positively to the community.

Job Location: Surat Thani, Thailand
Teaching Levels: Nursery, Kindergarten, Primary
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with additional classes available on weekends
Contact Hours: Average of 20 teaching hours per week, with opportunities for extra hours
Class Size: 16 to 30 students

Job Responsibilities:
- Teach at a primary school and private language school.
- Plan and deliver lessons using provided lesson plans and materials.
- Conduct speaking and written assessments using the provided test material.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Pay: 400 Baht per contact hour (minimum 32,000 Baht per month)
- Insurance provided, if required
- All work visas and permits for six-month contracts are covered
- Contracts are renewable based on mutual agreement, satisfactory performance, and operational needs

Professional Development:
- Structured induction program
- Regular observations with constructive feedback

Key Requirements:
- Native speakers from the U.S., U.K., Ireland, Canada, Australia, South Africa, or New Zealand with a degree are preferred. Fluent non-native speakers with an Education Degree and TOEIC certification may also apply.
- TEFL/TESOL certification is required
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about working with children
- A strong desire to make a positive impact
