Learn Satit Pattana School (LSP) in Bangkok is currently seeking a qualified and passionate ESL Teacher to join our team under the ISP Program. This full-time, fixed-term position involves teaching English as a Second Language to secondary-level students (Grades 7-11), following the U.S. curriculum. The role offers the opportunity to inspire language proficiency, promote a love for learning, and potentially grow into a leadership role within the English department.
Key Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging ESL lessons to enhance students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. You'll foster English proficiency through varied teaching strategies, develop a master plan for advancing students' CEFR levels, and create courses for standardized English exams like IELTS and SAT. Promoting critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication, you'll also assess student progress, integrate real-world learning experiences, and support standardized test preparation. Collaboration with colleagues for instructional alignment and mentoring fellow teachers for departmental leadership are also part of the role.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Education, or a related field, with a teaching certification in ESL or TESOL preferred. A teaching license from Kurusapa is advantageous. Applicants should be native English speakers with at least 3-4 years of secondary school teaching experience, a proven ability in curriculum design, and experience with CEFR progression and standardized exam preparation. Excellent classroom management, communication skills, and the ability to foster an inclusive learning environment are essential.
