Job Description:

Giraffe Inspire Shanghai invites you to apply for the position as an ESL teacher. We are not an agency; we have an in-house recruitment team and visa specialist. All documents will be handled by the company directly, and we will guide you through the visa process including regular check-ins online.

Job Position: ESL Teacher
Starting salary: 19000-23000RMB
Holidays: 5 days paid annual leave + paid public holidays (about 25-28 days across the year). 
Start Date: Flexible
Working Hours: You'll work 5 days a week including weekends with 2 paid days off. While training you'll work a 40-hour schedule. Once you've completed the training and passed probation, you'll have the option to change to a 30-hour schedule, usually 16:00-20:30 on weekdays, and 8:30-17:30/18:00 on weekends. 

Basic Requirements:

Native English speaker (USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa)
Bachelors’ degree or above
Clean National Criminal Record check
120 hours TEFL certificate (you can apply first and get the certificate later)
Patient, hard-working, and passionate about teaching young learners.
Interested in teaching children English
Creative and has a good sense of humour

Experience with young learners preferred but training is provided on arrival by experienced teachers. 

Responsibilities: 

Plan and teach educational drama classes to young learners aged 3-11 years old, in a fun, engaging, and authentic way. Most of our students are aged 3-5 years old. 
Teach 13-15 hours per week including weekends.
40-hour work week during probation.
30-hour work week including teaching hours after completion of probation.
Take part in events and special activities based on western holidays such as Halloween and Christmas. 
Attend staff trainings and weekly meetings.
