Job Description:

ESL Teacher Responsibilities:
● Conducting activities and lessons based on ESL teaching methodologies.
● Encouraging and engaging students to speak in English.
● Motivating students and using humor to induce a pleasant learning environment.
● Maximizing students’ talk time through oral tests and presentations.
● Displaying excellent classroom management.
● Keeping accurate records of student performance.
● Communicating with the Department Head or Principal, as needed.
● Maintaining standardized guidelines.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree related to English language
● TEFL,TESOL… Certification.
● Excellent command of the English language.
● Neutral English accent/ native-level proficiency
● Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
● Ability to teach students of all ages and from different backgrounds.
● Ability to work after-hours, on weekends and public holidays, as required. ● Display patience and awareness about Vietnamese’s culture.

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. To teach English as a foreign language to students at different academic levels; pronunciation correction for students
2. To cover other teachers’ lessons in the event that those teachers are ill or have to be absent for other important duties.
3. To design lesson plans for the lessons that the Teacher shall directly deliver and submit them to the Company’s Academic Manager as assigned 1 hour before class starts
4. To mark and evaluate students' assignments or tests;
5. To assess the students’ academic ability and their progress;
6. To participate in the organization and operation of extracurricular activities at Schools and at the Center.
7. Regulations on teaching materials and lesson procedure
- Syllabus are sent to teachers prior to the commencement of the course. Teachers are obliged to stick closely to the detailed syllabus formulated for each specific course and mark their lessons on the printed materials so that the other teachers can follow easily;
- The teachers shall use only teaching materials provided or recommended by Green Edu . The use of supplementary materials is encouraged but only after Academic manager gives prior approval;
- The teachers must prepare teaching resource book course book and work book stipulated in the syllabus. Green Edu will provide photocopy if needed. But after course, returning is encouraged for saving purpose);
- Lesson procedure: In order to guarantee the quality of each lesson, all teachers are required to follow Green Edu’s teaching framework, in which vocabulary check is fundamental to each lesson. The general framework is as follows:
+ Vocabulary check for previous lesson is obligatory in every lesson

+ Recap less then and homework assignment in class time

8. To fully and duly prepare lesson plans, following the professional teaching methodology of
the subject and the Academic Manager’s instructions, and timely send the lesson plans to the Academic Manager. If required by the Academic Manager, the Teacher shall revise (modify) the lesson plans to the Academic Manager’s satisfaction and shall strictly follow the lesson plans approved. If lesson plans are shared among the group, the Teacher is required to carefully study them and exchange ideas with the designers so as to fully master all teaching steps and to effectively apply them in teaching.
9. To enthusiastically and responsibly perform the teaching job; to try to create a comfortable, friendly atmosphere during the lessons in order to have fruitful classes; to conduct interesting, relevant and effective activities during class.
10. To use the right materials provided by Schools and the Company. However, the Teacher can collect additional materials to support his/her lessons to achieve the best outcomes.
11. To attend school on time, it is advisable to be present at schools at least 15 minutes before class.
