Exciting Opportunities at Julia Language Institute

$700/hr for 10~17 hours per week Part-Time and On-Call Substitute Teachers in Da’an/Xinyi Area

Established over 25 years ago, Julia Language Institute is a creative, supportive, and professional learning environment.

On average, our English teachers stay on our team for 4-5 years, a testament to our positive work environment.

We are currently looking for reliable and dedicated English teachers for two exciting positions:

Part-Time Afternoon Teachers:

We have openings for part-time teachers to lead engaging afternoon English classes for students ages 9-12 years old. These classes run Monday to Friday from 16:30 - 18:30 (10 hours/week).

On-Call Substitute Teachers:

We also need reliable and qualified educators to fill in for our resident teachers when they are absent. This is a flexible position, perfect for those who enjoy a dynamic work environment. Hours for substitute teachers range from Monday to Friday 13:30-16:30 or 16:30-18:30, depending on need.

We’re looking for:

- Teachers with native English-speaking accents

- Fun, energetic, and patient educators who enjoy teaching and playing with children

- A team player who will contribute to the school and our events

- Teachers with strong communication, teamwork skills, and a great attitude

- Responsible teachers who will create weekly word lists and review tests (based on school provided textbooks and curriculum)

- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher

- Teachers with 1+ years of experience are preferred

- TESL/TESOL or related certificate preferred
