Job Description:

Are you passionate about teaching children and helping them learn English? KOJEN English Centers in Taiwan is offering a fantastic opportunity for English teachers to join their team.

Founded by Kenneth Hou in the 1980s, KOJEN English Centers recognized the growing need for English education in Taiwan. Over the years, KOJEN has evolved into one of the most respected English institutes in Taiwan with over 40 branches across the country and approximately 1000 teachers and staff.

Currently, there are openings in Taipei city, New Taipei city, and Kaohsiung city. KOJEN offers a variety of courses for students of all ages, from preschoolers to adults.

At KOJEN, we focus on a student-centered approach to teaching, encouraging students to explore language choices and piece together meaning from linguistic input. Our well-developed curriculum supports both novice and experienced teachers.

To maintain high teaching standards, KOJEN does not franchise its centers. We provide competitive pay, paid training, teaching materials, work permit assistance, airport pick-up, accommodation, health insurance, and incremental raises based on teaching hours.

If you have a bachelor's degree and can commit to a minimum of one year, we want to hear from you! Contact Sean at kojenjobs@kojen-els.com.tw for more information.

Please review the requirements to teach English in Taiwan before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
