Job Description:

KOJEN English Centers is a renowned institute in Taiwan, established in the 1980s by Kenneth Hou to meet the growing demand for English education. In collaboration with English Language Services (ELS), KOJEN has evolved into a leading English institute with over 40 branches across Taiwan and a team of about 1000 dedicated teachers and staff.

Currently, we are looking for enthusiastic English teachers to join our team in Taipei city, New Taipei city, and Kaohsiung city. We offer a diverse range of courses tailored to students of all age groups, from preschoolers to adults.

At KOJEN, we follow a student-centered teaching approach, encouraging students to actively engage with the language to enhance their linguistic sensitivity and awareness. Our comprehensive curriculum supports both new and experienced teachers in delivering high-quality education.

We pride ourselves on not franchising our centers to maintain teaching standards. As part of our team, you can expect competitive pay, extensive training, teaching materials, work permits, airport pick-up, accommodation, health insurance, and incremental salary increases based on teaching hours.

To be eligible, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree and commit to a minimum of one year of teaching.

If you are passionate about teaching English and want to embark on a rewarding journey with KOJEN, please contact Sean at kojenjobs@kojen-els.com.tw. Join us in making a difference in English education in Taiwan!

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
