Job Description:

Children's English teachers are needed at KOJEN English Centers in Taiwan. KOJEN was established by Kenneth Hou to address the increasing demand for English education in Taiwan during the 1980s. In collaboration with English Language Services (ELS), a renowned intensive English program in the U.S., KOJEN has grown to become one of Taiwan's most esteemed English institutes, with over 40 branches and around 1000 teachers and staff.

Currently, there are openings in Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Kaohsiung City. KOJEN offers various courses tailored for different age groups, from preschoolers to adults. The institute follows a student-centered teaching approach, encouraging students to actively engage in language exploration and comprehension.

KOJEN provides a comprehensive curriculum suitable for both novice and experienced teachers. To maintain teaching quality, KOJEN does not operate through franchises. The institute offers competitive pay, with the potential to earn up to NT$ 70,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include paid training, work permit assistance, airport pick-up, health insurance, and gradual salary increments based on teaching hours.

To qualify, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and commit to a minimum of one year. If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please contact Sean at kojenjobs@kojen-els.com.tw.

Please review the requirements to teach English in Taiwan before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
