Job Description:

We are a company on the rise seeking dedicated and vibrant educators to join our team.

We believe in fostering strong connections between teachers and students, aiming for a minimum 6-month partnership.

Our approach involves utilizing authentic materials like storybooks, movies, and novels to engage and educate motivated young learners from China.

Teachers are encouraged to infuse their distinctive style, passions, and personalities into their classes, creating an enriching learning experience.

We value continuity and boast a tight-knit community of students, parents, and teachers who stay with us long-term.

Currently, we are in search of instructors experienced in teaching beginners, intermediates, and advanced students across various subjects:

1) Science

2) Social Studies

3) IELTS, CELTA, TESOL test prep

4) Language Arts, emphasizing Writing Skills

Compensation is set at $32.50 CAD per teaching hour for lessons lasting either 30 or 60 minutes, depending on student age and with one or two students per class.

Requirements:

1) Native English speakers with a bachelor's degree and TESOL certification or higher, certified teachers or individuals with language arts expertise are preferred.

2) Experience teaching children aged 6-12.

3) Ability to commit to a minimum of 10 teaching hours weekly, with flexibility for more preferred.

4) Availability for classes between 6-9 pm on weekdays and 8 am-8 pm on weekends (Beijing time).

5) Access to high-speed internet, a quiet teaching environment, and quality webcam/microphone.

6) Passion for ELL and language arts pedagogy, a willingness to collaborate, and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities:

1) Deliver engaging and effective lessons across age groups, fostering positive relationships with students for an optimal learning atmosphere.

2) Develop and execute personalized lesson plans using provided materials and resources, with lessons presented in PowerPoint format.

3) Provide timely feedback to parents on student progress and covered material.

We Offer:

1) Starting hourly rate of $32.50 CAD, increasing to $33.50/hour after 6 months (paid monthly).
