Exciting Teaching Opportunity at Sitapatr School in Thailand

🏫 Sitapatr School
📍Nakhon Si Thammarat, Thailand
💰 35,000 THB per month
Job Description:

Sitapatr School is a small private school located in the province of Nakhon si Thammarat, Thailand. We are dedicated to providing hands-on, fun-centered education to our students. Currently, we are seeking enthusiastic teachers to join our Primary and Kindergarten teams.

We have openings for teachers who can begin on May 1st with a contract extending until March 31st, 2026. A completion bonus of 20,000THB is offered for successfully finishing the contract, and if you commit to another year, the April holiday is paid.

The available positions cover various subjects and grade levels. We are specifically seeking teachers who are energetic, enjoy planning engaging activities, singing songs, and incorporating interactive games into their lessons. While our kindergarten classes focus primarily on Phonics, we aim to blend this with conversations and small group activities. In our primary classes, which typically have around 25 students per class, English is taught through subjects like Health, Science, Reading, and Math.

While familiarity with phonics is beneficial, the key qualities we value are enthusiasm for creating dynamic classes and a willingness to collaborate with our international teams.

Our school boasts a team of 18 foreign teachers, and Nakhon si Thammarat has a vibrant community of foreign educators. This setting provides ample opportunities for socializing and forming friendships for weekend travels. With the beautiful destinations of Koh Samui and Koh Phangan just a short drive and ferry ride away, and the neighboring province of Krabi offering stunning mountains and beaches, you'll have the chance to explore the beauty of Thailand.

Salaries are negotiable based on qualifications and experience, starting at 35,000THB. We welcome applications from both Native and Non-Native Speakers, with a requirement of a minimum TOEIC score of 900 for Non-Native Speakers.

At Sitapatr School, we are a dedicated and fun-loving team committed to providing quality education. If you are passionate about education and creating engaging learning experiences, we encourage you to email your CV and a cover letter to EPdirector@sitapatr.ac.th.

Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
