Prince of Songkla University, Surat Thani Campus, is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Foreign Lecturer within the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Management Sciences. This full-time role is located at one of Thailand's leading educational institutions in the upper southern region.
Position: Foreign Lecturer (2 Positions)
Responsibilities include:
1. Teaching English language courses for 15 hours per week.
2. Providing consultation for lecturers and students during office hours, totaling 15 hours per week.
3. Designing and organizing extracurricular activities to enhance students' English proficiency.
4. Editing academic papers.
5. Conducting academic research.
6. Developing short course training programs for students and community members.
7. Participating in faculty and university activities.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
1. A Master’s or Doctoral degree in English Language Teaching, TESOL, TEFL, or related fields.
2. At least one year of teaching experience.
3. Applicants must be under 55 years old.
4. Candidates from non-English speaking countries must provide a valid English proficiency test score:
- TOEFL ITP: minimum score of 513
- TOEFL IBT: minimum score of 65
- IELTS: minimum score of 5.5
- TOEIC: minimum score of 605
Salary and Benefits:
- Doctoral Degree: 30,000 Baht/month salary plus a 10,000 Baht/month allowance
- Master’s Degree: 24,600 Baht/month salary plus a 10,000 Baht/month allowance
