Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University - Foreign Specialist Position
Location: Nonthaburi, Thailand
The English Program at The School of Liberal Arts, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University, is looking for a Foreign Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop self-instructional materials, educational media, and e-learning courses.
2. Provide consultation to the English Program.
3. Write, proofread, review, and mark exam papers.
4. Create training courses.
5. Conduct staff development courses.
6. Perform other assigned tasks by the School of Liberal Arts.
Salary: 38,620 Baht per month, plus 8,000 Baht for housing allowances and additional compensation for overtime. The salary rate is non-negotiable as set by the university.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30-16:30, in an air-conditioned office with necessary equipment.
Benefits: 10 days of annual leave, social insurance coverage.
Visa and Work Permit: Assistance provided, applicant covers related fees.
Qualifications:
- Maximum age of 59.
- Current residency in Thailand.
- M.A. in TEFL, TESOL, English Language Teaching, or related fields; or B.A. in English or other relevant fields.
- Linguistics, TEFL, or TESOL certificate preferred.
- Experience in online language teaching or distance learning is advantageous.
