JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Full-Time Instructor position at Kyungpook National University in Daegu, Korea involves teaching English classes for conversational & academic purposes. The starting salary is 2,900,000 KRW per month with an overtime pay of 40,000 won per teaching hour. The teaching hours are 140 hours per session, and there are 6 sessions per year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The university is looking for a native English speaker with a preference for candidates holding an M.A. TESOL, M.Ed., and/or Linguistics. Candidates with a B.A. in a relevant field (ELT) along with a TEFL/TESOL Certificate will also be considered. Previous EFL teaching experience to adults, especially in Korea, is preferred. Applicants should have over 2 years of English teaching experience, with university experience being advantageous. As of January 2026, applicants must be residing and working in Korea.
