JOB DESCRIPTION:
Valor International Scholars (VIS) is looking for a dedicated math teacher to join their team. The ideal candidate must have the ability to teach various subjects such as Geometry, Pre-algebra, Algebra 1 to students from Grades 6-11 at VIS, a school that values small class sizes and diverse learning options. The new faculty member should be versatile in teaching a wide range of topics and be open to adapting to the evolving needs of both the curriculum and students. Creating a Kingdom-minded educational environment where every student can thrive and develop their academic potential is crucial. The teacher will be responsible for designing engaging lessons and implementing effective teaching methods to help students reach their full academic potential.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an English language instructional program at an accredited college or university.
- Completion of a teacher licensure program in an English-speaking country OR five years of teaching experience in the relevant subject area.
- Passion for imparting a Biblical Worldview in Christian education.
- Demonstrated role model with a strong work ethic and an active relationship with Jesus Christ through involvement in a church.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
