Job Description:

TEACHING SCHEDULE
• Schedule: Monday through Saturday.
• Class Times: Classes are mostly assigned between 8:00AM – 12:00PM and 6:00PM – 10:00PM, with occasional afternoon slots.
• Monthly Hours: Expect around 60 to 100 teaching hours per month.

LOCATION
Assigned school sites, Power English office (District 2), or remote work. Approximately 40% of classes are offline.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct scheduled online and offline classes.
• Prepare PowerPoint slides and adapt materials to meet diverse learner needs.
• Administer speaking tests and provide detailed feedback.
• Collaborate on developing teaching materials and assessments.
• Serve as a substitute instructor when required.
• Participate in company and school events when required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT
• Total income (net): 28,000,000 VND – 44,000,000 VND per month. This includes a fixed salary for the first 60 teaching hours. Hours starting from the 61st hour are paid hourly (negotiable rate: from 460,000 VND per hour net).
• Paid leave: 12 paid days annually.
• Government health insurance and social insurance provided.
• Full sponsorship for work permit and temporary residence card.
• Annual company trip.

REQUIREMENTS
• Must be a native speaker from the United States, Australia, Canada, etc. (as required by
our clients).
• Possess a Bachelor's degree and a teaching certificate (TEFL/CELTA/TESOL).
• Minimum two years of teaching experience across various programs (like IELTS) and
learner groups (kids/adults).
• Must have a positive attitude and growth mindset, with excellent communication and
time management skills.
• Should be confident using technology, especially online platforms like ClassIn.

The position focuses primarily on one-on-one or small group of learners instruction in both online and offline formats. Lesson durations are typically 45 minutes to 1 hour for Business/General English and 1.5 to 2 hours for IELTS preparation.

If the actual total teaching hours are less than 60 hours in any month, the teacher will still receive
the fixed income. However, the teacher is required to make up those missing hours in the following months by covering work at public schools and other tasks when needed.
