Teaching Position at Seoul National University of Education

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible full-time English lecturer to work at the Department of English Education at Seoul National University of Education (http://www.snue.ac.kr).

Qualifications
Master’s Degree or higher in humanities, education, or social sciences (preferred areas: TESOL education)
Minimum 2-year experience of English teaching in University
Native English speaker
Other disqualifications are subject to the university's recruitment regulations

Working conditions/Payment
Teaching area: English speaking, English writing, Classroom English, Advanced English conversation for undergraduates, and 1 or 2 lectures for graduates.
Full-time lecturer position.
1-year contract (September 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025), annually renewable.
Minimum teaching hours per week: 14 hours for both graduate and undergraduate courses (98,900 won per class hour)
Extra payment for teaching hours exceeding 14 hours per week (40,000 won per class hour)
Option for additional teaching at the language center affiliated with SNUE (extra payment)
1 month’s severance bonus upon completion of the contract
Benefits: pension and medical insurance
