Job Description:
Lakeside School in Nei Hu District is looking for a full-time teacher to work with students primarily in grades 1 to 6. We welcome enthusiastic educators with a Bachelor's degree or higher from English-speaking countries. The position involves approximately 36 on-campus hours per week, with teaching hours making up around 25 of those hours. The salary ranges from 85k to 95k per month based on qualifications and experience.
The ideal candidate will start in the summer of 2026-2027 and should be able to work from 12:30 to 8:00 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and from 3:30 pm on Tuesdays. We have a well-structured American-style curriculum but encourage the introduction of innovative teaching methods. Our teaching approach focuses on student-centered learning, with an emphasis on paired and small group speaking activities.
The school is conveniently located near the brown line, a short walk from Hu Zhou MRT Station. The successful candidate will be patient, committed, and passionate about education. A Criminal Background Check or equivalent documentation is required. Applicants must currently be in Taiwan and from Canada, the U.S.A., the U.K., Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
